Originally from Dallas, TX, Jeff has called New York City his home for the past 18 years. He began studying music at the age of 11 playing trumpet in school bands and orchestras. By 16, his professional career had kicked off performing in jazz venues around Dallas, then later, NYC. After graduating from the acclaimed Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (F/K/A Arts Magnet of Dallas), Jeff moved to New York where he earned his degree in Music Performance from The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music.

During his career as a performer, Jeff took numerous opportunities to compose, arrange, and record with groups in a myriad of genres. It was during this period that his passion for writing music took hold. He quickly found success in combining composition with his other life-long obsession, film and television. In a relatively short span, Jeff has become a sought-after composer for numerous top-tier music houses as well as next-wave filmmakers and producers.
