Congratulations to the film’s writer, director and star (triple threat), Shariq Siddiqui!

Jeff recently completed the score for the short film Motherland which will be screening April 25th, 2011 at IFC Theater as part of the 2011 Columbia Film Fest. This wry comedy-with-heart takes more than a few pokes at the dynamic between mother and son as well traditional Indian-Muslim values. The score is a unique blend of western and traditional Indian instrumentation and features the rare and beautiful sounds of the sarod.
